Come to Daddy!
Mar. 22nd, 2004 07:40 pmFirst thing, my copy of UT2004 has been dispatched today. About bloody time considering the game was released on Friday. However Play.com are the cheapest place online being £9 cheaper than other sites. They had problems with the supplier at the last minute apparantly... yeah heard that one before. anyway, this is one game I've been looking forward too for some time. In the absence of Half Life 2, it is the only big game I really cared about left. Been playing the demo a lot since it came out so it'll be nice to get some more levels ;).
Hmm, in other news, this has been my first LJ post in quite some time. Mostly because the only interesting thing that's happened to me recently is work and frankly writing about that gets boring after a while. Anyway, I plan to write up a summary of my month at work come the weekend.
Also, added a new LJ icon. Created using a nifty little program for my phone called FaceWarp, which does just that. Somehow, from a photo, it will detect the face and then allow you to apply 1 of 8 warps to it. I thought this one looked particularily like the creature that comes out of the TV in the Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy video and so I've named it as such. I expect I'll use the icon for when I'm either angry or I just want to scare the shit out of people ;).
