August Brighton Meet
Aug. 21st, 2005 02:20 pmYesterday,
branded_bunni,
bungle_bear, Wardy(
award) and myself went down to Brighton with my brother in his car. Not as big a turnout as last time but still had a good time. Myself and Wardy were left on our own while we were spending our time browsing all Cybercandy had to offer, so we had a look in a guitar shop and then made our way to Brighton Pier as Wardy wanted to visit The Doctor Who Experience thingy. Wardy socialised with a friendly Dalek (who must have been remote controlled or something) and got to shake it's plunger. The rest of the exhibit wasn't overly interesting to me, I dunno, maybe I was expecting a bit more for my £6. After that, we hung around until the others arrived and went on various rides. The Waltzer being particularily intense, spinning so fast, I was pinned to the seat for best part of the ride.
Once we were done with the rides, we retired to The Queens Head (Freddy Mercury being the Queen of course) and had a few drinks while Wardy and others got massaged. Glis(
nonezumi) also turned up at this late stage which was a pleasant suprise. We moved on to The Bath Arms like we did last meet until closing time before people went their seperate ways. Bungle, Wardy my brother and myself went down to Glis' place for a spot of mental video and bizarre anime viewing before heading off home. Got home around 3am and so am pretty knackered. An early night for me I think :P
