1 week until holiday
Jan. 8th, 2006 07:49 pmThis time next week I'll be on a flight somewhere across the Atlantic on my way to San Francisco. It's not really sunk in yet, I doubt it will until I'm packing my bags or maybe I'm at the airport. I'm pretty much prepared for the trip. I've ordered $800 from TravelEx which should be enough for the hotels, travel, food and shopping. Don't want to use my CC unless I can help it.
I'm in a strange mood over the convention itself. I'm flying 5400miles to attend a convention with over 2000 other members of the furry fandom. I'm just not too sure what I want to get out of the con anymore. I still don't know many of the native Americans attending there and I don't really want to go all that way to just socialise with UK furs. I dunno, I can't really say until I get there if I'll enjoy it or not. I just hope I will.

chapeljax to make a fursuit in time for the convention but I've not heard anything to even suggest that work has started. I suppose I should take reassurance that as he's not been online for a while, he's working hard on his commissions for the convention but it would be nice to know that I should still receive it in time. I never wanted it to be a rush job anyway, I want time taken over it to ensure it's well made. Ah well, all I can do is keep my fingers crossed.
