I'm packed!
Jan. 14th, 2006 05:11 pmWith the exception of some chargers, I'm pretty much packed. Found it pretty difficult to fill my suitcase as it's pretty large. Although I'm planning to pick up new clothes and all sorts of goodies to bring back. Of course, let's not forget the fursuit I'm gonna have to transport. I'm packing a large holdall which should store the majority of the fursuit hopefully.
All I have to do now is to sit back and relax while the movies I've queued up finish transcoding into PSP format and my many devices charge up before the big day tomorrow. I'll be leaving 8.30ish in order to be at the airport around 10ish in preparation for our 2pm departure. We only have to be there 3hrs in advance, but I like to be safe.
nomadfox will be there 9ish due to National Express anyway.
Whee! Not long now :)

Then the backpack - laptop, charger, USB cable for phone, CD wallet, a couple of books and earphones.
Ah...passport and itinerary :D

That way you can listen to every word of the in-flight/your movies without turning the audio up - and even if you're just relaxing, the diminished ambient rushing sound really makes a difference on a long flight.
And, if you're flying into SFO, remember BART now runs right to the airport - so you can get right into the City for the princely sum of $4.95. ^_^ (If you think you'll be journeying around on the buses much, a BART Plus ticket might be worthwhile - minimum's $38, which includes $15 of BART value, and covers unlimited use of all the local bus agencies, aside from AC Transit over on the East Bay; a Muni fare is $1.50, by comparison)
