In preparation for receipt of my new Nintendo DS Lite on, or around the 23rd June, I've ordered a few games for it:

Advance Wars: Dual Strike - £12.94 from Tesco Extra
Warioware Touched! - £18.99 from Tesco Extra
Brain Training - £15.97 from Tesco Jersey
Mario Kart - £21.99 from Amazon UK

I wanted to get a decent range of games, and specifically Mario Kart to play online.  I really want Tetris DS too, but I think I can wait for now (or at least borrow my brother's copy!).  I'll be getting New Super Mario Bros. on it release too.  Any other recommendations out there?

Advance Wars: DS is awesome.

Touched is fun too.

Other games... Metroid Prime: Hunters is quite good. Action-oriented Metroid FPS, with an excellent deathmatch mode! :)

I've heard that Animal Crossing is really good too, but haven't played it myself. I have friends who would be consumed by it and spend their entire lives playing, were they to own a copy...

I can definetely say That Animal Crossing is a good game. It's brilliant online as well, so yeah, you should probably consider getting it.

Nah, it's not my sort of game. It's just stunningly dull to me. I had the GC version you see. I'm not a fan of these Tamagotchi type games where you have to take care of something.
