Hmm, even though I've got 126 people on my contact list for this, the most I've ever seen online is 2 which I thought was kinda suprising, considering the general geekiness of the people I regard as friends.
I figure maybe people weren't so aware of it, and I think it is a pretty cool feature. Basically it's yet another IM client based on Jabber (meaning you need a Jabber complient client like Gaim, Adium or Trillian Pro) but the unique thing is that it dynamically creates a contact list from your LJ friends list and lets you know if they're online for easy contacting.
Anyway, if you want to know more, have a look at http://community.livejournal.com/lj_dev/716451.html.
