Good news: Since I introduced affiliate linking on my Root Beer site on the 24th July, 46 people have clicked the affiliate link. Of those 46, 6 have gone on to buy something.  Between the 6, they spent £271.29 on products from the American Soda site as a direct result of viewing my site.  I earn 10% of every sale made on that site.  So this means that in just over 2 weeks, I have earnt a grant total of £27.15 without really having to do anything other than make minor modifications to my site :).

Bad news: Despite the promising news I got back on the 31st, it's now looking ever more likely I will not receive my fursuit in time for EF, as again, I'm getting nothing in the way of promised news.  I wish I was wrong on this, but I've barely an ounce of trust left for my maker now.

PS. Make me feel better by buying stuff from American Soda via my site ;)

You have a good memory :)

I never had McDonalds' root beer, as at the time, I preferred their chocolate milkshakes. And I thought it was made of real roots...

I was always confused by the root in root beer too when I was younger. The only time I had come across it was in The Secret Of Monkey Island as it was used to vanquish the pirates. In fact at one part of the game, I could swear you actually get a root and make root beer from it...

I've had a Root Beer Milkshakes at A&W - a fast-food joint which just happens to sell own-brand Root Beer ;)

Yeah, I've heard of these fast food restaurants. In fact I mention them on my site :). Never been to one, although I've walked past the one in Glasgow.

Eek, thanks for pointing that out. I guess they're not selling the product that was an image for any more.

Ah, I'm sure they will again sometime, they seem to circulate their stock a lot. Keeps things interesting for repeat visitors I guess. It's worth pointing out that Cybercandy have Oreo DoubleStuff (twice as much cream centre) and Oreo Chocolate Cream in the shop.

yeah A&W root beer from the resturants arn't that bad but they are becoming a scarce item now aday and usualy a A&W is tacked on to a gas station or a tripower restruaunt here in the states like a Tacho Bell, KFC, A$W rootbeer. but if for some strange reason you ever make it to denver or colorado.. There is one orgional A&W root beer resturant still in service in a town about a hour north of denver called Berthound. A&W rootbeer and burgers the way its ment to be.. with all the 50,60,70's kitch
