Birthday ponderings

I'll be 26 on Wednesday the 1st November, and it'd be nice to do something for it this time round.  Now as there's no meets around that time I've been thinking.  Now what I think I'd like to do is to go to Thorpe Park the weekend prior as the park closes on the 31st Oct for the winter and they're doing the special fright nights throughout October.  Now obviously this means people would have to pay to do this (even as an annual pass holder, I'd need to pay £3 to get entrance), and I'd need a way of getting there anyway so this may be a non starter, so it's just an idea.

Other than that, I'm not too sure.  Just meet up with folks for a meal or something perhaps.  Any ideas welcome, it'd be nice to actually do something for my birthday for a change.  The past ones have been fairly uneventful.
