Leaving Pittsburgh take 2

Just to let folks know, we got up at 3.30am to get ourselves prepared and out the hotel in time for our flight. The flight is on time and we're all in the departure lounge. Got an hour before departure. No idea what we will do with our 13 hour stopover at NYC. Got to find somewhere to stick the luggage. Quite keen to see the terminal as featured in the film of the same name :). Not sure if we'll go to the city, may just get someplace to sleep unless we hook up with some furs or something

If you go to the city you'll probably want to stay! It sounds like you're having the return journey from hell. I know that when I was coming back from the U.S. last month I wasn't able to properly relax until I was sat on the final flight home and we had taken off successfully.

Glad to hear you're all on your way finally! Enjoy NYCity - as it's a great town. If the weather is nice and you fancy it, you might want to walk through central park. Great stress relieve that is.
