Back in the world of ADSL, this time the 2+ variety

When the router is where it normally is in the living room:


When the router is connected to the master socket (without Ben's fax connected):


When the router is connected to the test socket behind the front plate of the master socket (syncing at a whopping 12mbit):


Woohoo, not the amazing speeds some people get over ADSL2+ but it's certanly better than the 5.5mbit I used to get before (and also much better than the 4-5mbit Be expected). I'm sure that extra upload will make things run more smoothly too.

The latency may be something to do with the massive amounts of FEC errors I'm seeing according to the router. I've emailed Be for advice.

For £22 a month, I'm pretty impressed with what I'm getting. It's only for me and Rapido but I do a lot of downloading :)
