Yay for kitchen appliances

Following the recommendations of the recent edition of Five's The Gadget Show, I've decided to get some kitchen appliances for my new flat. The show recommended this toaster, the Breville TT68 Blue Ice, not cos it looks really snazzy (but it does, with all the blue LEDs!) but because it cooked the best toast according to a group of students who eat nothing but toast. Breville also do an accompanying kettle, the Breville JK147 Blue Ice but considering I don't use kettles a whole lot, I'm not as fussed about having a flashy one, and certainly not for the cost. So I got a nice (but cheaper) stainless steel kettle, the Breville VKJ007 which also illuminates in blue.

And yes, this was just a silly pointless post to show off the snazzy new toaster I'm getting :P

Shouldn't you be *saving* money and look for less shiny and more cost effective toaster, considering you say you're going to be broke after you move :-p
