OK, I wanted to get me something new to wear under my suit as the spandex thing I was using before was quite frankly crap and needs to be thrown away. I don't really want to have to buy another chinese spandex thing off eBay unless I really have to. I'd probably look to separating it into a t-shirt and trousers if I did but I'd rather explore whatever other options there are which aren't just wearing a t-shirt & shorts under the suit.

I was considering getting the Under Armour Heatgear as that's what a number of other furries seem to have opted for. However I'm not exactly of athletic proportions and so they don't seem to do stuff which would fit a... "larger" gentleman. So, I was curious to know what other people tend to wear under their fursuits so they don't get all soggy and uncomfortable.

Actually, they do go into large sizes. I have some very nice Under Armour Heat Gear shirts in 3X :)

While they do go into larger sizes, from what I've seen they only go into larger sizes for people with large muscles, not large bellies like me :(

Couldn't refer me to the item you bought could you? I'd need to see if I can get it in this country.

You can order up to 3XL from Under Armour, works for me.

Which items specifically do you get as they all look like they're fitted for people without bellies in the pictures.

I'll second "get geared" as a good source. And, of course, bikers come in all sizes.

Thank you very much for that, looks like there may be some viable options there :)

If you can find Under Armour in your size, I can highly recommend it. Quite expensive, but well worth the investment and it'll last much, much longer than spandex.

What size are you, exactly? I'm sure that you can find something in your size; if a 320 lb. American football lineman can wear their products, then I'm sure you'd be able to fit into it. Personally, I'm getting a Heatgear top that will double as a fursuit base and an ice hockey base...should be arriving later today if it's on time.

Well I buy XXL t-shirts but all of the pictures for Under Armour stuff show shirts intended for people with toned muscles and not a big belly so I expect it may be a bit tight there.

Just got my stuff a couple hours ago...and whereas I normally wear a large t-shirt, the top that I got was a little loose on the arms. Is there a local sporting goods store nearby that carries UA products? You might wanna try there first.

There's a lot of plus-sized airsofters who wear underarmour shirts or similar. Airsofters aren't exactly all made of muscles after all. So I should think you ought to be able to find one with ease. Check out a few airsoft retailers through google and see what size items they offer. I'll see if I can find anything to help you out too.
