Today's LondonFur Meet

I must say, I'm getting pretty jealous of not being able to get to the 10th anniversary Londonfur meet today because I am instead having to be on call taking phone calls from people who have problems with their connections. I wasn't actually scheduled to be on call today but I had swapped with a colleague so I could attend BrumCon last weekend. As you can tell from my previous posts, I really enjoyed BrumCon but it's a shame I'm missing out on the LFM. Looks like there's quite an impressive turnout... ah well, I can get to future ones at least, just need to make sure people I know are going!

I've not been to meets regularly for so long (due to having to work weekends) that I don't actually miss attending them any more. I was actually going to go to today's one in order to see what all the fuss was about, but I'm ill...

Yeah, the last LondonFur meet I attended was the 13th June but that was my first this year and can't really remember when I attended previously. They are very samey and a lot of bother and money to get to so it's hard to justify it sometimes but it is nice to catch up with people once in a while and considering the number of people going today, it would have been the perfect opportunity to see everyone.

Well, to be fair, that photo isn't the best as it's from an iPhone but I can make out FoxB. I expect that the photo was just from the fursuit parade anyway so I expect there's more people we know back at the pub :P

That's just the folks that wandered off with the fursuiters, too — I think there were 180+ people at the actual meet!
