Decided to browse Glis's video collection as I won't have access to it once he's moved and noticed a film called Braindead which I've not seen beyond the opening credits before. Heard good things about it but didn't really know what to expect....

Well I must say that that was the goriest, most comical horror movie I've seen. It's in the same genre as Evil Dead II but it's a zombie film rather than a scarey forest/house type jobby. That said I really enjoyed it. Better than Evil Dead 2? That's a tough call, I wouldn't able to decide so I'll take the wimps way out and say they are as good as each other as they are the same yet very different :D

Also, it's directed by Peter Jackson who went on to direct the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Interesting to see where some director's roots lie...

Damn that was a messy film!!

ah, first time you seen Braindead? :D thats class, that bit where his mums turning into a zombie and they'r having dinner with guests, jeese. I wanted to puke :P that nazi vet he got the tranqs off was bloody funny too^,^

heh, Braindead such a class film, I like the bit where that priet uses kungfu skills but ends up getting bitten by the zombies*HA!*
O! theres also a bit in the end where that bloke kills all them zombies with a lawnmower ¦O)
