The Customary Christmas Post!

slycatSooo to continue tradition, I'll make a post about my Christmas day. Obviously at the grand old age of 29 now, I don't really get excited about Christmas like I used to. In fact, I kinda dreat it. It all costs far too much, and when I'm on a tight budget anyway, it doesn't help things. I felt the presents I got for people weren't overly inspired this year as I didn't really know what to get people. I was only buying for close family and ended up getting Mum a Delia book she wanted, Dad some Magners and glasses and £25 worth of coffee in the form of a Starbucks card for my brother. Would have liked to be able to afford more expensive presents but really couldn't this year.
I received some chocolates, socks, John Lewis puzzles, a wok (I said to Mum I needed a new one) and a rather funky Hexbug Ant thingy which dashes around the floor and reverses direction when it hits something :) I also received £50 from Grandparents and £30 from my brother which will come in handy for helping pay off the debts of Christmas and go towards what I paid for ConFuzzled.

arakinuk had mailed me the deluxe 2 CD and DVD edition of The Prodigy's Invaders Must Die album which comes with loads of bonus tracks and remixes as well as all the videos. He also got me a rather cute t-shirt from Woot :)
Not got much planned for the rest of my time off work (as I'm off until Jan 4th) other than Brumcon, which I leave for on the 30th. Will probably use tomorrow to buy food supplies, clean up the house and maybe check out the sales.
