Partially Restored

Well I've now got access to my new account which was completely clean of anything I had on there before. I've restored most of my sites but still waiting on the SQL DBs to be restored before I can make Furmeets UK work properly. I decided to upload my unfinished SlyCat's Pad site rather than the old one as this will inspire me to finish the job on it. I've also got to wait for the SQL DBs to be resotred before I can start rebuilding the Galleries which will be the single biggest impact to my sites as all three had galleries, 2 of which had a load of user generated stuff. At least I now have all of my email accounts restored.

I managed to get a free upgrade to their premium package (which I won't use to be honest as it's got 250gb of storage) and an additional 6 months free service. I pushed for a year as they originally only offered 2 months so I guess this is as good as I'll get.

Ah well, I always learn this lesson too late but I will now be taking more regular backups of the entire site.

Edit - Just received the following email:

We will be making offsite backups in the future to ensure this never happens

We are restoring your databases now, please allow 30 minutes for them to
appear in your control panel.

I'm really worried to hear this as two whole days later my site is still not back up and I've still heard nothing from them.
