I'm feeling much better today as I had a relatively pleasant day at work today. Was feeling kinda down at being told last night by [livejournal.com profile] nonezumi that I had to pay £100 for the scratches that I had made on the pine dresser from my old house due to me putting a video and TV on it... Was getting used to not paying out for anything and actually saving my money. Shouldn't be too much of a blow to my funds tho - just a bit unexpected... If it had been my deposit I probably would have been more conscious about it but alas, it's all in the past now. All I can do it cough up and leave it behind me.

Anyways, yeah, I had a good day at work today. Phones weren't too busy and I had 2 hours of the phones in the afternoon to help a customer who came into the office. (Which I resolved in the end after a bit of work). I still have loads of emails and other stuff to do however so I'm not on easy street yet. I fiddled around with telnet while on the phone to customers and managed to teach myself how to write an email into an SMTP server. I was amazed at how easy it is to write completely phoney email messages that can be from no-one or another address and no-one would know! Explains a lot of spam and virus mails really...

Received a few emails which cheered me up. The first of which was the one you can read in my previous post. I was quite amused by this and can't see anyone other than BH actually going for it. Nevertheless, I sent them an email back asing for more info, just to be able to warn furs about what their aims are - they didn't give away a lot from that email. The second was from DJ DraftHorse of DWI fame who I emailed earlier cos I met him at AC and wanted to comment on the DDR tournament that he hosted. Gave him a few ideas about what to do for the next one which he agreed were good ideas (Freestylers should actually have to freestyle...). I guess it's just nice to receive an email that's not a list email or an LJ comment. I should email more people out of the blue about stuff... Probably make more contacts & friends that way that I wouldn't otherwise make.

Bah! I sound like a sad loner saying I don't get nay personal email. It's not as if I don't get personal emails, I just mostly talk about stuff in IM and IRC... ;)

Um, yeah that's about it. Chessington's all going to plan. It's looking promising that I'll sell all 12 tickets and may even need to get more at this rate :) I'm really looking forward to Chessington. Not so much for the rides and that but more so that it's the first thing I've organised and it's gone to plan *touches wood*. I do love roller coasters and that too so that's a bonus. Shame the real coasters are up north at Alton Towers... Maybe I'll get to go there sometime. Prolly not this year tho, I think they close at the end of October.

Um, yeah, that's about it. I'm well at the moment and am about to go to sleep.

Laters all!

It's scary when you realise how easy it is!

Yeah, the more the merrier. Remember I only have 12 discounted tickets. After that, it's £20 a ticket. As I said before, first come first served on the discounted tickets.
