Crazy Brazillian madness

The other day, I made a post to the UK_Fursuit Yahoo! Group. However, the only reply I got was from some Brazillian who sent an entire message in Portuguese! I have no idea why anyone would assume I knew Portuguese considering I posted to a UK fursuiting list but I kindly replied to the message explaining that I did not understand what the email said. Then, I got another reply, again in Portuguese which kinda looked like a Yahoo! Group message explaining that I had been subscribed to a list called "FursuitersBrasil"! I trawled through the random words in hope of finding an unsubscribe option. Fortunately, I found one and promptly sent an email to it. I got a reply which I assumed was confirming my cacellation from the list and so I wouldn't have to worry any more about it...

Until I got 3 more messages from the list today. Aaaargh! I sent another email to unsubscribe and then replied to the message I got back assuming it must be a "Reply to this to confirm unsubscription" type thing and it worked... Phew! No more scary Portuguese for me :)

My family and I are all Portuguese. I don't think I've ever really tried reading Portuguese off the net except for the odd visit to http://cnn.com.br/ just to eventually figure out that I'd rather just fluently read and instantly understand the English again. ;)
