Reason for joy!
Oct. 11th, 2002 08:24 pmNot only is it the start of the weekend (Woo!) but my loan application has been accepted (Double Woo!). I'm getting a personal loan of £5000 to finally rid me of my credit debts. I'll be paying it off in £200 installments for the next 2 1/2 years. So, now I've gotta be ultra careful with my spending from now on, only spending on my credit card when I absolutely need to, using switch or just not buying whatever it is at all until I can afford it. I will pay off my credit card each month and if I can't afford what I want, I will SAVE for it! I wonder how long I actually keep to this...
In other news, no replies from my job applications yet but I remain hopeful. I will continue to persevere in this department. Forgot to call the number I was supposed to today (D'oh!) so will try tomorrow.
I managed to rip a millimetre of nail extra off my finger today, extra meaning the part that's actually attached to the finger itself. The result was very painful - I can't even type with it and considering it is my first finger on my left hand, it means my type rate and accuracy have gone down even further than they were before ;).
Plans for weekend: Saturday, get hair cut, go to Camden with brother, buy a t-shirt and maybe some trousers in Cyber Dog, go to the London Fur meet, leave around 6ish to get home for 8. Go to the Guildhall in Southampton for the "Squeeze 18 - Rewind" night of oldskool clubbing and stuff - should be a laff. Sunday, SLEEP!
That is all, bye now!
