I recently made over £100 on eBay by selling random DVDs I don't watch any more. Got me Dad to sell them as he's become quite the eBay master and it takes the work off my hands. They were sold for a loss but it's best to get what money I can for them as I wasn't going to miss them or have any interest in watching again. Can't complain at £100 was only around 15 discs total.

I need to sell more of my unused items... here's what I've got together so far and what I'm looking to get for them:
  • Swear 'Rave' Shoes Size 9-10 (£40)
  • Sony MZ-E44 Personal MiniDisc Player (No record) (£30)
  • HP Jornada 720 (£200-300 - Needs a new docking station so will prolly go for the latter if I get a new docking station)
  • Misc GBC and GBA games
  • AIWA XR-H33MD Midi Hi-Fi with 3xCD, 2xCassette & 1xMini Disc Recorder (£150ish)
  • 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP 16mb Graphics Card (£20)
  • Non-ATI Radeon 8500 AGP 64mb Graphics Card (£80)
  • NAPA (AKA Naff-a) DAV309 MP3-CD/VCD/CD player (£20)
  • More random DVDs
Any takers? :o> Nah, I'm not really trying to sell stuff on LJ, just explaining what I'm doing (As always) but possibly someone reading this may be interested so that's a bonus.

You'll notice I'm planning to sell my Hi-Fi. The question is, which do I go for to replace it with? Do I go for the Philips MZ-1200 or the Ministry of Sound MOSDV006? Both play MP3 CDs but the MoS one plays DVDs and is cheaper too. However the Philips one looks nicer. Which should I go for? Or should I wait until Hi-Fi's have built in Digital Radio? You decide!

Nice work!

Nice work on the eBay DVDs!!

I recently sold my collection of games consoles for £712!! This included my PS2, GameCube, DC, Jaguar and GameBoy. I hardly ever play them now, so I decided to make some money off 'em!

*rubs paws* Now, what to do with the moolah..........

I suggest you keep the money in a savings account until you actually need it... Like for a holiday or whatever. (I presume you're going to FC again?)

I was considering that myself. I'll probably put it in my ISA. Tax free savings.

And yes, FC is on my list next year.

However, it looks like the speakers are much better on the Philips one...

Okay then, check which of the two outputs the better signal - good speakers can be bought anywhere at anytime, you don't have to use the ones with the system!

Sorry old bean, a girl at work has first dibs on that. I'm bringing it in to work for her today, I'll let you know if she doesn't want it.
