Just got back from watching 28 Days Later which turned out to be a kinda cross between Dawn of the Dead and the first episode of The Stand (In a last man alive after a disease type way). It was OK, nothing fantastic but a good british zombie flick none-the-less. Saw the film after going about town buying myself some jeans (not tight this time), a new bag (As the brick of a laptop I'm carrying round burst a hole in the old one) and a copy of Moshi Moshi: Nu Sounds from Japan (Which has turned out to be more laid back and jazzy than electronic techno type stuff that I was expecting, which was how Stuff magazine kinda protrayed it. I should probably give it to [livejournal.com profile] nonezumi(Glis) as he'd appreciate it more than me).

Yesterday, I went to London for the once-every-three-weekly LondonFur Meet. I know I said last time I'm not drinking but it WAS my birthday after all so I was making it an exception. Had fun dispite me being an arse at times due to being a bit drunk. Playing DDR while not completely sober was interesting... Not a great idea mind. I won my game of bowling at Namco against [livejournal.com profile] shinjiwolf, [livejournal.com profile] ruination and [livejournal.com profile] makali with a respectable score of 118. [livejournal.com profile] akira114 gave me a graphic novel for my birthday which I was really happy about considering I wasn't really expecting anyone to give me presents. Nevertheless, I was dead chuffed :) I've not had a chance to read it yet but will be making it my bed time reading. Had the worst hangover while on the train back from London, I was glad that my Dad offered to pick me up from the station.

Fell asleep to watching my new 2 disc edition of Dogma last night. Woke up and watched the VCD of Jackass: The Movie that my brother had downloaded. The movie was just like a long episode of the show but this time they had the money to do more extreme, shocking and downright gross stunts (Yellow Snowcone anyone?)... A good laugh but now I've seen it, I doubt I'll bother with seeing it in the cinema seeing as seeing it on the big screen won't really improve the viewing experience.

That is all for now, now it's back to mundane Monday... Gotta try harder for a new job!
