More boring rubbish about hi-fis!

slycatYeah, I'll expect you to skip past this as you did with the other ones but I've just packed up the Ministry of Sound hi-fi which was doomed from the beginning so Parcel Force can pick it up tomorrow. I hope to receive my full refund before Christmas...
As far as replacements go, I've found a new contender and one that could be quite likely to be my number one choice. It's the Sony CMTM90DVD mini Hi-Fi which as the code suggests will play DVDs. I can get it for £249 from places like Comet but if I want it multi-region, I can go with a place called RGB Direct and pay £20 for it to be modded. It looks like it doesn't play MP3s but it does have AUX in so I can play MP3s through the computer into it. Also it has RDS tuner and CD-Text, all of the gubbins I could want. Plus it's by Sony which seems to have gone down well with both my Brother (An audiophile) and my Dad (Who loves Sony products).
Dunno if I shall get it for certain but I'll try it out in a shop at the weekend and see how good it is. :o)
