Geeky stuffs

slycatMore geekyness ahoy as I suddenly realise how all modern web technology works and how I can test it on my pc. I feel incredibly silly for not knowing beforehand. Years of not bothering wasted all because I didn't know or acknowledge a simple fact. You can run a web server on your PC by installing IIS!
Once I learnt this fact I started playing around with ASP and hope to look at PHP too. I could quite possibly have saved myself £3000 had I known this information sooner... Well maybe it wouldn't get me the qualifications but it would have gotten me experience.
Anyways, no use crying over the past, I need to get cracking and learn this stuff and become the l33t web developer dude I always wanted to be! :)
