Back to work
Aug. 26th, 2003 09:34 pmBack to work again but this week I have no lift to the train station. This means that I have to be out the house at 6am to get the train at 6.30am. Argh! I got up at 5.15am this morning and I really did feel dead. Despite the fact I went to sleep early ish (11pm) the night before. I'm so glad it's only for 4 days. Fortunately, my bro offered to give me a lift home today so I got home an hour sooner than I would had I made my own way back.
Finally got my import copy of Animal Crossing in the mail today. It's a strange one to say the least, not sure I've got into it as such yet. It's basically a life simulator for want of a better description. You play out this boy (or girl) who is settling in to a new town and has to get a job to pay off his mortgage for his house. I think it's originally designed to be a game for kids to play as a lesson to what life is like when they leave home. Regardless, I bought it because of it's general acclaim amongst the gaming community and the like. Apparantly it's stuffed to the brim with nice touches and hidden things. I just hope the game grabs me before I get bored :P
