FC 2006

We arrived at the FC hotel yesterday courtesy of Mr t_h_squirrel. I'm currently residing with klepsydra, insofox and nomadfox in room 355, if you're reading this and are at the con.

Following my last post, we went to Alcatraz as planned which was really good. We also had the fortune of going on Al Capone's birthday so were treated to a talk about him. Yesterday, we covered most of the other sights such as Golden Gate, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, China Town and also a breif visit to Haight Ashbury.

I have just registered and got my badge, but as there hasn't been much else to do, I've mostly been wandering around spotting people I know and lazing in the gorgeous hot sun by the pool.

However, it has not all been good. I learnt yesterday that I would nto be receiving my fursuit in time for the con. I received and apologetic email from chapeljax explaining that he had been struck down by some illness meaning he's not been able to do it in time which resulted in me feeling pretty depressed. But I've been doing my best to push that to the back of my mind and will try to enjoy the con as best I can.

I had a look at your journal and your site and I couldn't even figure out if you were a fur or not :P

Yeah I went to FC06, but as you can see I didn't have the best of times. I'm still waiting for my suit, now 2 1/2 months late.

Not sure about FC07 yet, I'm thinking of skipping it and going to Anthrocon 2007 instead. I only get limited time off from work a year.

Yeah, our site is more about AIBO repairs than it is furry, there will be pics of us in our suits there soon, but I do not have a furry site.

My LJ is blocked off from all but the pack for the majority of posts. I dont really use it for public stuff. I have added you to friends, but pack is just 4 of us.
