My Dad just asked me "Do you know who Sylvester is?". I'm fairly certain he does, I mean remember the fursuit? Anyway, I reply "No". He says "It was sent to sylvester@my old claranet address". I said just to delete it... I don't know what the message said but I don't really want to know.

Furry is a really stilly thing to explain to your parents. You should never need to explain it. Especially when it isn't really a big part of my life. True, I've met many interesting people and made many good friends but I don't see it as something you need to explain to your parents. It's just a hobby to me if anything.

Bleh! Why are people using an email address which is like about 3+ years old?!

At first I just said that TK was my internet handel and so peeps might get phone calls asking for TK instead of me. I let my folks get used to the idea of furry slowly so I could get away with more furry things around the room, like the artwork I have framed and my fursuits.
They think it's just a kind of Live Action Role Play thing where I have made various friends who prefer to use our Internet names. Keeps life simple that way - they don't really -want- to know more.
