16/05/97	Trancecore	A really good remix of "You're Not Alone" by Olive. One of my better songs.
29/05/97	Make the World a Happier Place	A crap attempt at happy hardcore spurred by getting some cool happy hardcore samples and trying to make a song around it. I hadn't really heard enough happy hardcore at the time to make it work however
02/06/97	X-Cite	Probably my favourite of the bunch. However, the main tune is copied from another song by someone else, this is essentially my remix of it... But it really works :)
07/06/97	Common	A bizarre attempt at gabba even though I had heard very little before. I guess this is what I imagined it would sound like ;) The tune has plenty of energy provided by beat but not much else goes on to make it interesting.
11/06/97	Go Wit Da Flow	An attempt at remixing "Go With the Flow" by someone who I forget right now but it was probably in the charts. Doesn't really work and is quite plain and slower than it should be.
20/06/97	Anti-Climax	An interesting combination of the amen break and the sounds of posh BBC radio presenters. I like this, seems to flow quite well. I played around with stereo here a bit here too.
06/04/98	Skies	An energetic trancey tune. Nothing professional but still worth a listen.
08/05/98	Mind of the Machine Remix	Remix of N-Trance's Mind of the Machine. Kinda works but is a bit slow... Needs to be faster, harder, more pounding... Another remix perhaps?
04/11/99	Let The Beat	Not really a song, more of me playing around with the "Let the beat control your body" sample from the 2-Unlimited song of the same name. I put it up anyways as it was the last scrap of tracking I did.

Yeah, I made these ages ago in a now almost forgotten part of my teenagehood. Things were much better back then...

Let me know what you think, just as long as you don't say they're shit. I know they are, however I made them 5 years ago so give me some credit :P I'm not putting these up cos I think they're good, I'm putting them us cos I want to archive the work I did back then permanently.

Oh, if you fancy a laugh, read the instrument names, again those are untouched since the time I wrote them and some of them could be quite embarrasing! :P

Let The Beat

Okay, this opens with some nice gentle synth being trampled on my big stompy beats. It's rather slow, eased and well paced. The "Let The Beat" samples are again a little clumsy and don't quite fit in but all in all, not bad. Not going to beat Mind Of The Machine Remix but nevermind.

There you go - honest thoughts without saying "It's Shit" to any of them. trying to talk about genres I have NO idea about is hard so I just hope I didn't sound like too much of an arse! :o)
